------Princess Alaska Cruise 2021------
While Princess normally has several ships cruising in Alaska, there is only one ship in 2021. Majestic Princess is offering Princess Alaska cruises from Seattle sailing 7-night roundtrip itineraries.

Embarkation and disembarkation on the ship was relatively smooth. With the Medallion technology, we were able to board the vessel with no issues. Likewise, we were off the ship and in a taxi to the airport in about 20 minutes on the morning of our departure.

Princess Alaska cruises offer a great mix of onboard activities, amenities, and dining for all types of travelers. In our Princess Alaska cruise review, we detail our experiences from the line's first sailing in 16 months.

Majestic Princess features two outdoor pools and whirlpools. There is an indoor pool in the Hollywood Pool Club as well. When not ashore, cruisers can also engage in a number of activities. From trivia and competitions, to a full sports deck, to engaging enrichment talks, there was plenty to do during our Majestic Princess Alaska cruise.

Some of our favorite dining options on the ship were the casual eats. We were big fans of the International Café. Open 24 hours a day, this venue was our go-to for snacks during the morning and afternoon, as well as our regular coffee fix. We also loved Alfredo's Pizzeria. Now we know why Princess Cruises is often voted as having the best pizza at sea!

We dined at two specialty restaurants as well, Crown Grill and Bistro Sur La Mer.

The World Fresh Marketplace is your typical cruise ship buffet slightly modified due to health and safety protocols. Unfortunately, main dining room did not live up to the Princess Cruises reputation. The food and the service were both inconsistent.

For entertainment, the Princess Theater offered a different show each evening. The two production shows were rather typical for a cruise. For headliner acts, there was a soprano soloist, two comedians, a magician, and a pianist.

In the evenings, there was also live music at several venues including the Piazza and the Vista Lounge. There were regular game shows and hosted events each evening in Princess Live as well. We really enjoyed attending these game shows.

On Majestic Princess, there are several bars and lounges. Among our favorites was the Crown Grill Bar. This martini bar included several distinct drinks you couldn't get anywhere else on the ship, like my favorite sidecar.

In this Princess Alaska cruise review, we detail our experiences at the ports of call as well. In Juneau, we took a whale watching tour which was coupled with a Mendenhall Glacier nature walk. In Skagway, we booked an all day excursion to the Haines Bald Eagle Preserve. Likewise, in Ketchikan, we decided on another wildlife excursion with a bear watching cruise in Neets Bay.
