Cruise Industry News for Saturday, August 6, 2022.
Carnival Cruise Line reverses the pre-cruise testing policy saying that guests on sailings five-nights or shorter need to provide a negative COVID test before sailing to The Bahamas. Royal Caribbean’s Rhapsody of the Seas has finally begun homeporting in Haifa, Israel, after original plans to temporarily base Odyssey of the Seas last year were canceled after the Gaza strip conflict. Another rockslide occurs at the port area in Skagway, Alaska. Remembering my dad, a year ago today as we were sailing out of Nassau together for the last time.
