Royal Caribbean has released its 2022 cruise passenger counts.

The company hosted over 4.6 million passengers on its ships last year.

In total, the fleet can welcome nearly 90 thousand guests at any one time at double occupancy or nearly 113 thousand at full capacity.

And guess how many ships called at Perfect Day last year in The Bahamas?

530.

Holland America will soon be switching up the musical entertainment on some of its ships.

The line’s partnership with the Lincoln Center, which since 2016 has resulted in the Lincoln Center Stage venue, will be changing, becoming a traveling ensemble instead of a dedicated venue.

The group will travel between ships in the fleet and perform in the main World Stage theater.

Holland America has not yet announced what the Lincoln Center Stage venue will become.

Also, on Noordam, Westerdam, Oosterdam, and Zuiderdam, B.B. King’s Blues Club is going to be replaced with the Rolling Stone Lounge, which will allow for a wider variety of music.

B.B. King’s will remain on some of Holland America’s ships.

Silversea Cruises’ 2023 World Cruise departed Sydney, Australia today, marking the first time Silversea has departed on a world cruise from the southern hemisphere.

The 139-day voyage aboard Silver Shadow will include 66 port calls in 34 countries.

Highlights include Papua New Guinea, Cape Verde, Tasmania, New Zealand, South Africa, and the Amazon River.

The world cruise is scheduled to conclude in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on May 28th.

If you’re wondering about the price of this one, it starts at around 60k dollars per person.
