Cruise news today. A shore excursion turned deadly for a passenger in Nassau on Tuesday. The accident happened during the Blue Lagoon Island shore excursion when the tour boat sank off the coast after being hit by several large waves. Details have surfaced on the Carnival Glory guest that was reported missing on Monday. 28-year-old Tyler Barnett from Louisiana could not be located, which sparked a search with the US Coast Guard and the ship. After reviewing shipboard surveillance footage, Carnival's security team concluded that Barnett appeared to have jumped overboard from a lifeboat Deck 4 early Monday. Cruise line stocks were up on Wednesday for CCL, RCL, and NCLH.
