Cruise news today. Cruise ships are being forced to find a new home after the Francis Scott Key collapsed early Tuesday morning after being struck by a cruise ship. The Jacksonville Port Authority and Carnival Cruise Line have extended their partnership, allowing Carnival to continue operating from Jacksonville until 2026, with potential extensions up to 2030. Two cruise ships have entered a Dry dock in Freeport, Bahamas. Royal Caribbean’s Grandeur of the Seas entered the dock for maintenance and a refresh. At the same time, Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Freedom joined the Grand Bahamas Shipyard unexpectedly after its funnel was struck by lightning on Saturday afternoon. Freedom canceled. Cruise line stocks for CCL, RCL, and NCLH.
