-----BEST CRUISES FOR 2022 ------ With new cruise ships in 2022 setting sail from almost every cruise line, cruisers will have their pick of the latest and great vessels.
Norwegian Cruise Line will debut Norwegian Prima, and Celebrity Cruises will debut Celebrity Beyond. Disney Wish will be setting sail for Disney Cruise Line, and Wonder of the Seas will join the Royal Caribbean fleet.
MSC Seashore and Holland America’s Rotterdam have recently debuted. Virgin Voyages has launched Scarlet Lady and also plans to christen two additional ships this year, Valiant Lady and Resilient Lady.
Not to mention, Carnival Celebration, sister ship to Carnival Mardi Gras, will set sail this fall and Discovery Princess will debut this spring.
Of course, Viking has some big plans for 2022 including the launch of its Viking Mississippi. The brand will also debut ocean ships Viking Mars and Viking Neptune and expedition vessels Viking Octantis and Viking Polaris which will be among this years best cruise ships.
-----NORWEGIAN PRIMA------ As Norwegian Cruise Line’s first new class of ships in nearly 10 years, Norwegian Prima will be the first of six ships in this new class, making it one of the best cruise ships of 2022. This new cruise ship for 2022 is a game changer for NCL!
As one of the best new cruise ships for 2022, Prima will be the “Industry’s Most Spacious New Cruise Ship”. It will feature two Oceanwalk glass walkways, infinity pools, the fastest drop slides at sea, a 3-story racetrack, and so much more.
-----WONDER OF THE SEAS------ Wonder of the Seas is Royal Caribbean’s fifth Oasis-Class ship. Repositioned from China, this best new cruise ship 2022 will set sail from a new homeport of Fort Lauderdale starting in March.
Wonder of the Seas will steal the title of world’s largest cruise ship from her sister Symphony of the Seas, complete with 8 exciting neighborhoods. New to Wonder of the Seas is the Wonder Playscape, a kids underwater-themed play area, and the Vue, a cantilevered bar offering panoramic ocean views from high above on the pool deck.
-----CELEBRITY BEYOND------ Celebrity Beyond is the third ship in Celebrity Cruises popular Edge Class of ships. This new cruise ship 2022 will be longer, taller, and more luxurious than her sister ships making it one of the best cruises 2022.
The popular Rooftop Garden will be 20% larger, featuring two cantilevered float pools. Perhaps the biggest transformation on Celebrity Beyond is the Sunset Bar. This now multi-level area will be 180% larger! In terms of dining, one new restaurant has been revealed so far, Le Voyage by world-renowned chef Daniel Boulud.
-----DISNEY WISH------ Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, Disney Wish, is certainly one of the best cruise ships 2022. Disney Wish is the 5th ship in the cruise line’s fleet and the first LNG ship for the brand.
Disney Wish will bring to life the worlds of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars with unique dining, entertainment, and onboard activities. The AquaMouse is sure to make a big splash on Disney Wish, and cruisers are sure to love the new Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge as well.
