Cruise news today. An attempt to free the grounded Ocean Explorer cruise ship by a large fish trawler during high tide on Wednesday was unsuccessful. Armed forces personnel who have inspected the ship in remote Northeast Greenland report that everyone on board is in good condition. The Danish Navy's patrol vessel is expected to reach the site tomorrow afternoon to try and free the vessel. With Marseille hotels fully booked during the Rugby World Cup, organizers have turned to a creative solution to address the hotel room shortage. Norwegian Epic has been transformed into a floating hotel to cater to rugby fans. Recognizing the limited lodging options in Marseille, this initiative was born from the observation that the city could only offer 10,000 accommodations for an event that attracts 80,000 Rugby fans. Carnival plans to extend its Family Fued game show experience to a dozen ships by the fall of next year. The next in line for the addition are Carnival Vista, which will debut the game on its September 16 cruise, followed by Carnival Legend, Carnival Pride, Carnival Miracle, and Carnival Jubilee in 2023, and a slew of other ships throughout 2024. Cruise line stock prices for CCL, RCL, and NCLH.
