Join us as we explore Dubai’s top attractions and must-see places!

Right at the beginning, we would like to say a big THANK YOU to our girl’s adopted Uncle Pepe, who gifted us a stay at a massive amazing place overlooking the Dubai Marina beach for a few nights.

From a high-tech kitchen and stylish dining space to huge bedrooms with on-suite bathrooms, this place was amazing from top to bottom. Add a breathtaking view and a massive heated pool to all that, and you get the perfect setup for a dreamy accommodation in Dubai.

Even though we had that modern kitchen all to ourselves, we decided we would go for a Tex-Mex-style dinner the first night, and little did we know we were in for a special treat.

Needless to say, the food was finger-licking good but the best part of the night was our talented waiter who beautifully sang a few famous tunes for us. We learned that he had actually performed on live TV in the Philippines! Talk about service and hospitality.

Uncle Pepe arrived the next day. We showed him around the Dubai Marina and had our first stop at a Lebanese restaurant for a tasty brunch.

Then we decided to kill the heat with some Turkish ice cream, but the ice-cream man made sure it was hard to catch those cones. It was so much fun watching Pepe and Chloe fighting his moves! Hilarious!

That night we were a bit naughty, “spying” on our neighbors who were sitting in their tub watching a movie. Don’t worry; no private parts were on display. It was simply an unusual sight. Oh, the charm of Dubai!

The next day was finally time to explore Dubai’s top attractions, and we figured that one of the best ways to do it was to partner up with the City Sightseeing bus tour. It was awesome because they had several tours to choose from covering all the major sights.

The Dubai Aquarium was our first stop and it was a great place to explore the fascinating aquatic world. Located in the Dubai Mall, the Aquarium features a 10-million-litter tank and holds thousands of marine species.

After the Aquarium, we went for a ship tour around the Queen Elizabeth II, a 13-deck floating hotel in Dubai featuring 200 bedrooms and two restaurants. Moored permanently at the Port Rashid Marina on the Gulf, the hotel offers cozy compact rooms, modern technology, and stunning city and marina views.

We ended the day at the beautiful Dubai Fountain show and went back to our place to prepare some delicious homemade dessert.

In the morning, we hopped on a boat to go sightseeing around the famous “Palm” island - the first man made archipelago in the world.

Then we took the monorail to the monumental Atlantis hotel where we saw a dolphin show. It was so exciting and fun, and best of all, the tickets were included in our sightseeing tour. From there, we headed to the Lost Chamber Aquarium, within the Atlantis.

One more attraction we couldn’t miss was El Seef Street. It is a famous shopping area full of stores and fancy restaurants. Here, we took another boat ride that took us close to the old market area.

Our last attraction stop for the day was the Gold Souk, before we sat down for an Arabic-Indian-Chinese-American fusion dinner. Quite the selection! Then we went shopping in the area and found quite a few bargains.
