Once they are fabricated they will then go out to get powder coated white to match the boat. Next step is to adhere the frames to the top of the hard top and then put in the solar panels and secure them. As much as we love our hard top it is very difficult to get up there and clean it or install solar panels. So we found this telescoping ladder that works great and can easily be stowed away in the engine room and works great for your boat or home. After installing the wiring, frames and solar panels, we turn our attention to the solar charger. We chose a Victron 100V 20A MPPT smart solar charger that integrates into our Victron Quattro 10kVa Inverter System. The solar charger connects directly to our LiFePO4 battery bank.
