The Krogen Express 52 was actually the first boat I filmed at last years Ft Lauderdale International Boat Show. When I was onboard, the broker joked that it would be all downhill for me for the rest of the trip as nothing could compare. While that may not be 100% accurate, this one certainly set the bar high!!
One of the biggest highlights with this yacht is that while she can cruise at full displacement speeds and burn 4 gallons per hour @ 8 knots, she can also cruise at 16 knots with a fuel consumption of 28 gallons per hour. This allows you a burst of speed to outrun the weather or tides, but you can cut the throttles and enjoy a fuel range well in excess of 1000 miles!!
