Leaving & Securing the Boat Checklist (EP29)

This episode, we leave and secure the boat to head down to Nuevo Vallarta Mexico. But first, we review our checklist for leaving the boat. Although, there are similarities with preparing your home before you leave, like having someone keeping an eye out for you, there are a lot of other items to be remembered. Here's the list we cover:

Close portals
Tie down dingy cover
Turn off AC Panel Loads
- Hot water
- AIr Conditioning units
- Engine room lights
Leave on Head heaters
Turn off all lighting and LED strips
Turn Bilge heater on
Check and add dielectric to shore power connections
Turn off dock side water
Check spring lines
Check Victron Remote Monitoring VRM
Check genset is on Auto
Turn down shore power amperage limit to 42A
