We have a 1967 Bristol 27 sailboat for sale this week - designed by Carl Alberg. It has a Monitor Windvane steering system, a really nice/solid dinghy, and an AIS-equipped radio as nice bonuses for a classic sailboat.
A young man graduated from high school and decided he wanted to take a year off and take this classic sailboat and go solo sailing. He took the Bristol 27 and sailed her from Massachusetts to the Caribbean and back over a 9-month period. At $6,000, It's a really fair price given the additional equipment. She needs a little love but you'd be getting a lot for your money here.
