Royal Caribbean’s Perfect Day at CocoCay is one of the best cruise line private islands to visit once cruising resumes. This recently updated resort features several beaches, a variety of complimentary dining, a kids aqua park, and the largest resort style lagoon pool in the Bahamas. You can also explore the coast with several shore excursions, as well as spend the day in the Thrill Waterpark, featuring the tallest waterslide in North America.
The first ever cruise line private island, Norwegian Cruise Line’s Great Stirrup Cay, has also recently been enhanced. The cruise line has added new dining options, upgraded the beaches, and has added new activities. These include a new zip line as well as excursions such as swimming with the pigs. The exclusive Silver Cove offers luxurious accommodations, a private lagoon and beach, a private restaurant, and the exclusive Moet Bar.
If you are looking for a day of relaxation on the beach, then one of the 8 beaches at the new MSC Ocean Cay Marine Reserve might be your best choice for a cruise line private island. This recently debuted private destination is an eco-friendly resort that features several water-based activities, complimentary dining, as well as nighttime festivities and light shows. The brand new cruise line Virgin Voyages is set to debut in the Caribbean in 2021 once cruising resumes.
