🚢Royal Caribbean is offering three options for those with the cancelled Panama Canal transit itineraries: Which would you go with?
(1) Go with the new itinerary which is a Southern Caribbean itinerary embarking from Colon, Panama. If the new itinerary has a lower price, the cruiser will get a refund for the difference.
(2) Change to any other Royal Caribbean cruise. The cruiser will not have to pay the deposit change fees that would normally be charged. However, they will have to pay the difference in pricing if the new cruise costs more.
Note: For the first two options, Royal Caribbean will refund up to $200 per US passenger and $400 for international passengers for reimbursement of non-refundable travel costs that were incurred. Any additional expenses above this will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
(3) Guests can also opt for a complete refund. However, with this option Royal Caribbean will not give any reimbursements for non-refundable travel expenses already incurred (i.e. flights booked to Panama, hotel bookings, etc.).
