On Thursday, Carnival Cruise Line's Dream-class ship Carnival Magic skipped San Juan, Puerto Rico, because of potential protests near the port area. Cruisers heading to or from Port Canaveral on Monday should expect traffic delays due to NASA’s planned rocket launch and congestion of five ships being in port. A new cruise port is planned on Prince of Wales Island in Alaska. The island is set to open May 2023. Cruise line stocks were up for CCL, RCL, and NCLH.
