Join me on a relaxing walk around the Promenade deck of the Queen Elizabeth, a magnificent cruise ship operated by the Cunard Line. The Queen Elizabeth was built in 2010 and is the second largest ship in the Cunard fleet, with a capacity of over 2,000 passengers and 900 crew members. The ship features a stunning Art Deco design that evokes the glamour and style of the golden age of ocean travel.

The Promenade deck is located on deck 3 of the ship and offers a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean. It is also a great place to get some exercise, as three laps around the deck equal one mile. As you can see in the video, some people are enjoying reading or watching the waves, while others are strolling or jogging along the deck. You can also spot some of the ship’s lifeboats and other safety equipment.

The video was taken during our cruise from Vancouver, BC to Los Angeles, CA via San Francisco from August 17 to August 22, 2023. Along the way, we sailed past the Channel Islands National Park, which consists of five of the eight Channel Islands off the coast of California. The park protects and preserves a wealth of natural and cultural resources, including unique animals, plants, and archaeological sites that are found nowhere else on Earth. The park also offers visitors a chance to experience coastal southern California as it once was.

The video is accompanied by an ambient electronic music track that I composed myself using a Make Noise 0-Coast and Strega synthesizers. I hope you enjoy the video and feel free to leave your comments and questions below.
