Even the shortest visit to Athens should include a little Greek Island Hopping. Not only are the Greek Islands beautiful and relaxing but so easy to get to.
Whether further afield to Crete or Mykonos or as I did a day out to the island of Agistri.
Taking the ferry to the island of Agistri is only an hour by Flying Dolphin or my recommendation an hour and a half by the more relaxed mini cruise from Saronic Ferries. Not only that but Greek Island hopping is budget friendly at a cost of only about €12 per person to Agistri which ever option you choose.
And if you want to make your holiday all Greek Island Hopping remember most of the islands are connected so you can skip from one to another. Aegina for lunch and Agistri for the afternoon and dinner, what a perfect way to sepnd a day, week, month.
