As the founder of Sixty and Me, a community of women over 60, and our cruise site She Cruises, this week I took a 4-night cruise of 5 Greek Islands with Celestyal Cruises. We visited Piraeus, Mykonos, Rhodes, Patmos, Kusadasi. I am always the eternal optimist and prefer to take a positive attitude with every opportunity I take to travel and explore this beautiful world. My review of the ship the Celestyal Olympia is made through that lens. The Celestyal Olympia is not a luxury ship. It is affordable and practical and fun! Celestyal is a Greek line and only has 2 ships (Olympia and Crystal) They know the Greek Islands like the back of their hands. It is what they do! Shore excursions were executed with precision and food was fresh and served almost non-stop. It was an all-inclusive cruise so drinks were included and available almost 24 hours a day. This included tea, coffee, and snacks. The entertainment was great. It was not fancy but I actually loved the experience. The staff was fantastic and the logistics associated with tenders and shore excursions handled very professionally. There is another video of the actual cruise which is available for women in our community to view, taking you one by one on the islands we visited. This video is a walkthrough of the ship which I thought might be useful to a wider audience.
